PrinceBuild partnership raises vital funds for Peterborough Local House Project and NHP

Posted 25th August 2026

We are delighted to celebrate the generous support of PrinceBuild, whose partnership with Peterborough Local House Project (LHP) and NHP has helped raised more than £19,000 to create opportunities, experiences and practical support for care-experienced young people in Peterborough.

PrinceBuild has shown an outstanding commitment to giving back to the local community and supporting Peterborough LHP to help care-experienced young people build independence, confidence and positive futures.

A memorable fundraising dinner

In June, colleagues attended PrinceBuild’s fundraising dinner at Katana in Peterborough, an evening that brought together clients, partners, colleagues and friends to raise funds for two important causes: Helping Our Ukrainian Friends and The Peterborough LHP.

The event was filled with generosity and community spirit, with guests supporting raffles, an auction and other fundraising activities throughout the evening. PrinceBuild later announced that the dinner raised £25,000 in total, with funds shared between the two charities.

“The gala fundraising dinner … was an absolutely fantastic evening. We were delighted to attend with four of our young people, all of whom had a truly memorable experience. The event itself was beautifully put together, full of warmth, generosity, and a real sense of community spirit. We are incredibly grateful to Princebuild for their continued support of our project and for their genuine commitment to creating opportunities and brighter futures for the young people we work with.” Hayley, Project Lead at Peterborough Local House Project

Making a difference for young people

In addition to £12,500 raised at the fundraising dinner for Peterborough LHP, PrinceBuild have also donated an additional £6,000 towards the cost of other activities Peterborough LHP are delivering with their young people.

The funding is supporting activities and experiences that help young people build confidence, develop life skills and strengthen their support networks as they prepare for independent living.

We are hugely grateful to everyone at PrinceBuild for their continued partnership, generosity and belief in the young people we support. Their commitment is a powerful example of what can be achieved when local businesses and communities come together to make a lasting difference.

Partnerships like this show the difference corporate supporters can make when they invest their time, networks and resources in young people. PrinceBuild’s support has gone beyond fundraising, helping to create memorable experiences and additional opportunities for young people involved in Peterborough LHP.
